Refund policy

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day:

  • on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods;

  • in the case of a single order for multiple goods delivered separately, on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item;

  • in the case of goods delivered in several partial shipments or pieces, on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or piece.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

Sproutwerk
Owner: Maximilian Budwill
Heideweg 22
14482 Potsdam
Germany
Email: info@sproutwerk.de

by means of a clear statement, for example by letter sent by post or email, of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

You may also submit your withdrawal using the clearly visible “Withdraw from contract” function available in the shop throughout the withdrawal period. For items that have not yet been fulfilled, a cancellation request is available until fulfilment. For fulfilled items, a return request can be submitted within fourteen days from delivery of the last item in the order.

To do so, sign in using the email address used for the order and the verification code sent to you by email, select the relevant order or individual items, and submit your declaration using the separate confirmation function. We will then promptly send you a confirmation of receipt containing the content of your withdrawal and the date and time it was received on a durable medium. The technical distinction between cancellation and return requests does not limit your statutory right of withdrawal or your option to declare withdrawal by letter or email.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification that you are exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including the costs of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal. Additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us will not be reimbursed.

We will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to the following address without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal:

Sproutwerk
Owner: Maximilian Budwill
Heideweg 22
14482 Potsdam
Germany

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You must arrange the return yourself and purchase the required shipping label at your own expense. No restocking fee will be charged.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. The absence of the original packaging alone does not affect your right of withdrawal; please package the goods securely for transport.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Personalised Goods

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods:

  • that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice of, or decision by, the consumer is decisive; or

  • that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

This includes, in particular, products made only after your order with an individual name, text, design, size, or other customer-specific customisation.

Simply choosing a standard colour or standard variant from the usual available options does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal. Whether the exclusion applies depends on the actual customisation of the specific product.

Defects, Damage and Incorrect Deliveries

The exclusion of the right of withdrawal for personalised goods does not affect your statutory warranty rights. This also applies if goods arrive damaged, are delivered incorrectly, or differ from the agreed characteristics or those stated in the product description.

In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible at info@sproutwerk.de or via the contact form and include your order number. Photos may help us assess the matter more quickly, but they are not a requirement for exercising your statutory rights. In the case of a justified defect claim or incorrect delivery, we bear the costs required for remedying the defect or returning the goods.

Fine layer lines and minor, technically unavoidable variations in colour or surface texture may occur with FDM 3D printing. They are not considered a defect only where they were transparently disclosed in the product description before purchase, remain within the usual and reasonable range, and do not impair the agreed characteristics or intended use.

This policy does not grant any additional voluntary right of return or exchange beyond your statutory rights.
